Line Dance - Ask any one of the CSC line dancers what they like best about their class, and they'll tell you "the
fun, the friends, the music, and the exercise." Our class ranges from beginners to seasoned veterans and all
levels in between! Dancing burns off calories and it's healthy exercise too! Join the fun  on Wednesday mornings
at 9:30 a.m.

Resistance Training - Why should seniors exercise? Exercise helps stimulate the circulation of blood throughout
the body and improve quality of life. The Clarence Senior Center has adopted the Erie County Resistance Band
exercise program. These exercises are a major therapy and are designed for the aging. Fun-filled classes are
held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. Two different strength bands are supplied. This is a free class!

Stretch & Tone - This class is designed to improve all aspects of fitness and is appropriate for people at all
fitness levels. Utilizing many tools, you can improve your flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular fitness.
Low-impact movement is interspersed with strength training exercises. Weights and dyna-bands, used either
standing or seated in a chair, will improve muscle strength. You will stretch all the muscles to improve range of
motion and flexibility in your joints. This is a fun way to improve your quality of life and make yourself healthier in
the process!  Class meets on Monday mornings at 9:00.

Tap & Jazz Dance - Dance Hall of Fame member Michael Valentic teaches Tap & Jazz especially for seniors.
Emphasis is on self-respect, self-control, self-discipline and finding happiness through dance. No experience is
necessary. The groups perform in occasional shows. Tap Class meets Mondays at 10:15. Jazz Class is held
Mondays at 11:30. Join one or both!

Tai Chi - Tai Chi is an Ancient Traditional Chinese practice that combines the mind, body, and spirit. Practitioners
use meditation and deep breathing as they perform a series of continuous movements which promote healthy
circulation and energy flow throughout the body. It is now widely practiced for its healing benefits for the entire
body, which include reducing stress and anxiety, promoting balance and flexibility, increasing muscle strength,
bone density and joint integrity, easing arthritis pain, and inducing calm and harmony by improving the flow of
internal energy (or “Chi”) throughout the body. People who practice Tai Chi regularly say that it improves their
overall sense of well-being and physical agility. It should become a life-long practice and will in turn lengthen
your life. Try a class for FREE on Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. It will change your life!!!
